Children are our most precious treasures. We know, because we feel the same about our children. Care for these youngsters when they are sick can be very stressful. At Byrd Regional, we have physicians and nurses experienced in pediatric care. This experience shows, as we will make every effort to involve the family, keeping them informed about a child's progress towards a speedy recovery. We also allow rooming in for a parent so that they can be with their child during a time of sickness or surgery. As part of our Pediatric Center of Excellence we provide:
